Dravid to say his Test retirement?

Dravid is now the 2nd-highest run scorer in Test history.Dravid may end his international career after India’s likely defeat in the Adelaide Test, unconfirmed media reports said on Friday.

PTI report that Rahul Dravid, who has had a torrid time with the bat in Australia, may choose to publicize his retirement on Saturday. India is 6th-down and are certain to lose the Adelaide Test on the last day and with it, lose the series 4-0, and have missed by the same margin in England.

The 39-year-old Dravid averages 24.25 in Eight innings on the tour. He’s been out bowled in 6 of those innings; bring his famed performance under the scanner. He is said to have told some of his teammates after another failure against Australia in the last Test that he had decided to hang his boots, PTI said.

Dravid has played 164 Test matches, making 13,288 runs. He’s the world 2nd-highest Test score in history with Ricky Ponting now only 88 run behind him. Dravid more has a world record 210 Test catches.
